Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats have requested that the FBI send its file on President-elect Donald Trump’s attorney general nominee Matt Gaetz, Politico reported on Wednesday.
Democrat members of the Judiciary Committee asked for the evidentiary file from law enforcement’s investigation into whether Gaetz engaged in child sex trafficking, according to a letter sent to FBI Director Christopher Wray and obtained by Politico.
The letter was signed by all Democrats on the committee except for Georgia Sen. Jon Ossoff.
