Enrique Tarrio is planning to run for public office in 2026 or 2028, he told Newsmax.

“Last time I was on, I told you that I was going to take some time, and I was going to really think about what I was going to do,” Tarrio, the former Proud Boys leader released from prison two weeks ago after being pardoned by President Donald Trump, told Wednesday night’s “Greg Kelly Reports.”

“I think my future is in politics. I think I’m going to take a serious look at running for office at some point in 2026 or 2028, and I believe that there is a path for that because it is my passion.”
