Fatal ATV crash claims life in Dorchester County on Old Beach Hill Road

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — One was left dead Sunday after a single vehicle ATV collision in Dorchester County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The collision reportedly occurred at approximately 6:17 p.m. on Old Beach Hill Road near Boat Landing Road.

The sole vehicle involved was a 2023 sportsman polaris ATV.

A report on the incident states that the driver was travelling along Old Beach Hill Road when they drove off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene from injuries sustained in the collision.
