Woman sought in theft of crates from Orangeburg dollar store

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — Authorities are seeking the public's help identifying a woman captured on surveillance video stealing storage crates from a Dollar General store on Kennerly Road.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell announced that the incident occurred on Friday, March 7, when employees reported the theft to the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office.

"If a business has property outside, it doesn’t mean you can walk off with it," said Sheriff Ravenell. "If you know who this is, please give us a call."

The security footage shows a white female wearing red clothing loading the crates onto a trailer.

The trailer already contained what appeared to be an air conditioner unit. The woman was driving a white Chevrolet truck connected to the trailer.
